President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Project Overview

University Initiatives & Policy provided project management support for the President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program from 2021-2023. In 2021, the University of Arizona joined a collaborative partnership with the University of California to offer postdoctoral fellowship opportunities at Arizona. In this partnership, Arizona offers postdoctoral research fellowships in all fields, coupled with faculty mentoring, professional development, and academic networking opportunities.

The University views these presidential postdoctoral fellowships as an exceptional opportunity to recruit potential new faculty to the University whose research, teaching, and service will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity at Arizona. This program is also part of the Arizona Advantage pillar of the University's Strategic Plan, which supports our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

This program transitioned to the Office of Black Advancement and Engagement in 2023. For more information, explore the President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program website, which contains details about the application process and current fellows.
