Project Overview
University Initiatives & Policy provided project management support for the installation and display of the flags of all 22 Native Nations in Arizona. The flag exhibit is permanently located in the University BookStore on the Tucson Main Campus.
The tribal flag display was unveiled during Native American Heritage Month and honors the cultures, customs, and innumerable contributions of Arizona's 22 Native Nations. Leaders from the University of Arizona, the Tohono O'odham Nation, and the Pascua Yaqui Tribe dedicated the permanent exhibit in a ceremony in November 2020.
